One month ago, we came up with a list of things that we thought made a good mathematician.
After a month of doing our 'new' maths programme, I asked our class the same question. Have a look at the wildly different responses! Ask your child why the responses are so different. How has their thinking changed in a month and why?
The second set of comments really reflect real mathematicians and these children are being equipped to carry on using maths in their lives and in ways that support everyone else. Well done to the teacher and to the children.
